AcadLynk is a school management platform provided by Atmez AI, based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. For any privacy question or request relating to this policy, contact sales@acadlynk.atmez.ai.
What data we collect
We collect only the data needed to run the school platform. The school decides what is entered, and acts as the owner of that data; AcadLynk processes it on the school's behalf.
- School details: name, address, contact information, branding
- Staff data: name, role, contact details, login credentials
- Student data: name, date of birth, class and section, roll number, guardian details, documents uploaded by the school or parent
- Academic data: attendance, marks, results, homework
- Fee data: fee structure, payments, receipts and dues
- Technical data: log and device information needed for security and reliability
Why we use it
Data is used solely to deliver the service the school has signed up for: maintaining student records, marking attendance, running examinations and report cards, collecting fees, and communicating with parents. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use student data for advertising.
Payments
Online fee payments are processed by third-party payment gateways. Card and banking credentials are handled by the payment provider under their own security standards and are not stored by AcadLynk. We retain only the transaction record needed to issue receipts and reconcile fees.
How we protect data
Security is built into the platform rather than added on. Access is limited by role so each user sees only what their role requires.

Children's data
Because our platform holds data about children, we apply extra care. Student data is entered and controlled by the school, is visible only to authorised staff and the student's own parent or guardian, and is never used for marketing or profiling.
Data retention and deletion
We retain school data for as long as the school's account is active, because schools need historical academic and fee records. On request, or after account closure, data can be exported and then deleted. Schools can request an export of their data at any time - the data belongs to the school, not to us.
Your rights
Schools, staff and parents may request access to their personal data, correction of inaccurate data, export of data, or deletion where retention is not legally required. Requests should be sent to sales@acadlynk.atmez.ai and are normally actioned within 30 days. Parents should raise requests through their school, which is the controller of the student record.
Third parties and sub-processors
We use a small number of service providers to operate the platform, such as cloud hosting, payment gateways, and SMS/WhatsApp/email delivery services. They process data only as needed to provide their service to us and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we will notify account administrators. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
